Mike Monastero

Mike has owned and operated Babylon Bike Shop for 30 years and has coached athletes over multiple disciplines over 20 years. He was an early adopter of training with power and was at the forefront of individualized cycling and triathlon coaching. As a bike fitter, Mike has reduced athletes drag and increased injury prevention to help 750+ athletes achieve their cycling and triathlon goals. He has coached the elite athletes on Western Beef and Engel Burman over the last decade.

ryan siebert

Ryan began focused triathlon training at 17 when he met his first coach, who would end up being his mentor in sport and life. It is that relationship that has influenced him to become a coach so he can share his experiences with athletes of all ages. He raced at the top of the US amateur field with many wins and podiums, and three consecutive years as a USAT All-American.

In 2014 he took a hiatus from sport to serve for 6 years in the Air Force’s elite Pararescue unit. He separated after 3 combat deployments and returned to competition, earning his elite license, and began coaching. He combines his experiences from his service with his lessons learned from triathlon to help others accomplish their goals in endurance sport.

Betsy Eickelberg

Betsy's passion for racing and her competitive spirit have played a significant role in shaping her athletic journey. She initially embarked on her racing career at Adelphi University, where she made notable contributions as an athlete in both cross country and track and field. During her time at Adelphi, Betsy achieved some remarkable milestones, and her dedication and hard work earned her the privilege of qualifying for the National Championships on multiple occasions.

Upon completing her college education, Betsy entered the world of triathlon and road racing, with the expert guidance of her coach, Mike. Thanks to Mike's mentorship, Betsy has attained her fastest times and secured numerous victories in the realms of triathlon and running. Betsy's racing journey stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment and determination, qualities that continue to inspire her fellow athletes and coaching clients with her passion for the sport.
